VVNA’s mission is to empower seniors and community members in Visitacion Valley through culturally competent activities and programming. VVNA’s goals include providing a safe space for activities to immigrant or monolingual members of the community, reducing isolation, and nurture the mental health of the senior community.

VVNA's community members enjoy celebrating and exhibiting their culture. Community members feel joy being able to show their capabilities and despite their age.

VVNA also provides activities that include singing, dancing, Tai Chi class, age appropriate exercises to community members in Visitacion Valley and the greater San Francisco area.
