A wonderful and enriching experience to explore the farm and
gain valuable insights into modern agricultural practices.
The students of Grade 10 and 11 had the privilege of visiting Vivian Agri Care on the 7th of November as part of their educational trip. It was indeed a wonderful and enriching experience to explore the farm and gain valuable insights into modern agricultural practices.
The first concept they learned about was tissue culture, a scientific method of growing plants in a laboratory under controlled conditions. They also learned about hydroponics, a soil-less method of cultivating plants using nutrient-rich water.
In addition to this, the students were exposed to several other interesting and modern farming practices such as rainwater harvesting, sericulture, mushroom cultivation, polyhouse protected cultivation, dairy farming, and many more. They were truly fascinated to see how these innovative methods can contribute to the growth of agriculture in our country.
The tour helped these young minds understand that farming is the backbone of our nation, as it provides employment to millions and plays a vital role in strengthening our economy. They also learned to value the relentless hard work of our farmers who toil tirelessly despite numerous challenges to provide us with food grains, vegetables, and fruits.
Overall, the visit to Vivian Agri Care was highly informative, inspiring, and motivated us to contribute in our own way to the progress and development of the nature and our country. The main objective of this tour was to help students understand advanced methods of farming and their importance in today’s world and appreciate the nature and its resources.
