Will Sri Lanka open for Tourism-latest updated(2021)

Sri Lanka is open for visitors from most countries but all foreing travelers will need to accquire a valid visa,health insurance and present negative COVID-19 test result taken no-longer than 72 hours before the trip.

Fully vaccinated travelers visitin from not restricted countries bearing a negative COVID-19 test and released from qurantine with an on-arrival negative COVID-19 PCR report-do not have to undergo a COVID-19 test on day 7,according to the latest qurantine amendment.

People with travel history in last 14 days to South American countries,india,south Africa,Angola,Botswana,Lesatho,Mozambique,Zambia,Swaziland and Zimbabwe are not permitted entry until futher notice.

September 29-Sri Lanka's Covide-19 lockdown to be lifted on october 1 says Goverment.

Sri Lanka's quarantine curfew finally lifted on octombor 1,the health minister tweeted wendnesday,how ever condition apply.In oder to avoid another wave of COVID-19 ,The Sri Lanka Medical Association has recommended a "restrained" phased and well-monitored lockdown exit strategy.

Also,the Sri Lankaa Tourism Development Authority requested the health service Director Genaral to further relax Covid-19 entry restrivtions.

The petition includes,

*Remove personal protective equipment(PPE) for fully vaccinated flight crew.

*Remove PCR test for vaccinated travellers.

*Remove PCR for children younger than age 12.

*Allow on arrival rapid test for fully vaccinated travelers.

Coconut tree hill is presumably the most well-known place in Mirissa.you can watch the infinite sea and Mirissa by area from the top of this amazing place.it takes you 10-15 min to walk up the street from Mirissa beach.you can also reach here from Bandaramull temple and also can access this place via the Mirissa beach.Accessing via the beach would be difficult if the sea is rough.
