So we're coming out of Lockdown, and we're standing on this cusp, if you like.
The virus still is with us. There still is a lot of uncertainty.
But maybe you feel a bit wiser. Like you have got to know yourself. You have discovered what matters to you.
Maybe like many others, you know one thing: You don't want to go back to your old normal.
Maybe you don't want society to slide back to the old normal.
Maybe you learnt that you would really like to have more time with your family. Or more time outdoors.
Maybe you don't want us to go back to being these bored super-consumers.
Maybe you hope that we will build on the community spirit, the kindness, generosity and creativity that we celebrated during Lockdown.
This is our chance. This is the moment. Now.
RIGHT now, before we get consumed by our old routines, our old fears, addictions, habits...
Let's seize this opportunity to choose.
Let's pause. Let's really look at where we've come from. And what we've just been through.
What we've learnt. What has changed.
What we want to take forward. And what we want to leave behind.
Let's spend a bit of time thinking about our hopes, or vision for our "new normal".
Let's visualise it, share it, and commit to it.

Let's take all our observations, ideas, feelings, etc., from the previous exercises and mobilise them to generate Creative Tension.
(Don't worry, this won't induce stress!)
The final step in visualising our "New Normal".

Don't feel like completing all the exercises above? Here's a short-cut worksheet that gets to the point.
This is best printed on A3 paper, but again, just use what you have to hand. You could even just take a plain sheet of paper, fold it in three and add your own headings.
Remember, you could write paragraphs, phrases or words, and/or use images from magazines, the internet or draw your own - whatever comes naturally for you.
