Vision Competition 2020 Winner's Recital
Founder/President
Hi! My name is Abigail Wu, and I'm currently a Senior in high school. I've played the piano and violin for 12 and 10 years, respectively, and have attended Manhattan School of Music Precollege for 5 years now. Music has always been a constant in my life and I'm a part of my school's chamber orchestra and adelletes acapella singing group and am the Associate Regional Director of Back to Bach Queens and the Vice President of Healing with Music. Besides music, I am also the President of a student-run nonprofit organization called Students Creating Change and I love playing golf. Over the past few years, I've been very lucky to have met a multitude of really amazing people who are all really invested in helping their communities, strengthening my belief that everyone, no matter their experience level, can make a difference. We just have to take a step off the cliff and go.

Hello! My name is Yuxin Li, my pronouns are she/her, and I am currently a Junior in high school. I've played the piano for 10 years and counting, and have been attending the Manhattan School of Music Precollege program for 5 years now. I've always loved all genres of music, and I've immersed myself in all sorts of music-related projects, including accompanying my school’s honors chamber choir and glee club, spring musical, and more. I am also a student representative on my district’s board of education and participate in many other volunteer activities as well.
Through Vision Competition, we hope that students will be encouraged and receive well-deserved commendation for their dedication to their instruments, while also perhaps being inspired that they can change the world around them.
We don't need to be 21 to do something. 12 is good too.
