Yangchen Learning center (Group of two)

Educational  Institution design -Pacheykhani. This project involved designing a Educational institute in Pacheykhani , Sikkim. Nestled on a steep slope, the design respects the existing contours through a terraced approach, minimizing environmental impact. Sustainability was a core focus, with passive climate strategies and net-zero energy goals achieved through smart building orientation, a high-performance envelope, and renewable energy integration. Locally-sourced vernacular materials minimized embodied carbon and energy, while celebrating the region's architectural heritage. This educational institute exemplifies a commitment to sustainable design, fostering a healthy learning environment in harmony with Sikkim's natural beauty.
