About us

Our History

Established as the Children's Group in 2007 by Sister of the Nation Ms. Arnisha Phatowali and her associates. The former Children's Group was a parliamentary republic with the President being the ceremonial Head of State while the Prime Minister led the executive government. Children's Group was renamed as the Friends Society on 27 January 2017, while the system remained the same.

From 2007 until 2019, the State remained as an organization with all micronational activities but without any international recognition. In June 2019, the Friends Society was officially renamed as the Commonwealth of Friends Society and opened to the international domain as a full micronation.

On 08 June 2020, the Commonwealth of Friends Society ushered into a new era of monarchy while the name was changed to the State of Vishwamitra as it is today.
