Welcome!

Hi, I'm Vishva, a PhD student at Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Gujarat, India. My fascination with universe began back in 9th grade, pushing me to study physics during my bachelor's. At one point, I tried out adult psychology, maybe because I was really into reading psychological/crime thriller novels! In the end, I chose a different path and life took its turns, and I found myself pursuing a master's in physics. And now? I'm all in, delving deep into researching black holes! How cool is that?

My research explores some of the most extreme environments in the Universe, where gravity, matter, and radiation interact under extraordinary conditions. I am broadly interested in the physics of compact objects- particularly black holes and their possible alternatives- and in understanding how their surrounding spacetime influences observable phenomena. My work has included studying mechanisms of energy extraction from rotating compact objects, while my current interests are increasingly centered on the physics of accretion disks, relativistic jets, and high-energy radiation. By combining general relativity with theoretical modeling and X-ray observations, I aim to understand what the light emitted by accreting matter can reveal about the geometry of spacetime, the nature of compact objects, and the physical processes operating in their immediate vicinity. I am particularly interested in bridging theoretical models with observations to understand the physics of accretion disks and relativistic jets, and what they reveal about the geometry of spacetime around compact objects. Ultimately, I am fascinated by how observations allow us to probe some of the darkest and most energetic regions of the Universe.

Besides my passion for astrophysics and cosmology, I have a love for a variety of things. I really enjoy reading novels, capturing moments through photography, getting lost in the world of music, enjoying the magic of cinema, exploring new places through travel, and smoothly rolling around on skates. These interests add color and balance to my life. If you want to know about my research or breathtaking sights I've captured through my lens or my favorite book...click below,
