I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Computer Science and Automation Department at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Y. Narahari and Prof. Arindam Khan.
My research interests include Online Learning and Optimization, Game Theory, and Mechanism Design. I am currently working on questions in the area of Algorithmic Fairness and Online Learning. My work is supported by a Google Ph.D. Fellowship.
Previously, I completed my M.Tech. (Research) from CSA, IISc in July 2019 under Prof. Narahari's guidance with a thesis titled 'Achieving Fairness in the Stochastic Multi-armed Bandit Problem'.

[Apr '23] I've been selected to attend the 10th Heidelberg Laureate Forum as a Young Researcher!
[Apr '23] Our paper on Fairness vs. Reward in Improving Bandits has been accepted for publication in IJCAI 2023.
[Mar '23] Joined as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research, India.
[Dec '21] Our paper on Fairness in Average-reward MDPs has been accepted for oral presentation at AAMAS 2022.
[Nov '21] Delighted to receive the CII-SERB Prime Minister's Fellowship for Doctoral Research!
[Sep '21] Our paper on Multi-armed Bandits with Bounded Arm-memory has been accepted at NeurIPS 2021!
[Jun '21] The extended version of our AAAI-2020 paper on Fair Multi-armed Bandits is accepted in JMLR.
[Jan '21] Our paper on regret minimization in Causal Bandits has been accepted in AISTATS-2021!
[Oct '20] Delighted to receive the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF)! (Now declined in favor of the Google Fellowship)
