Student Tasks:

• Station 1: Genesis Gardening Challenge

  • Begin your relay in the Book of Genesis.

  • Find the passage where God places Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to tend and care for it.

  • Reflect on the responsibilities assigned to them and how this connects to our duty to care for the world around us.

• Station 2: Exodus Accountability Hurdle

  • Move forward to the Book of Exodus.

  • Locate the section where Moses receives the Ten Commandments, specifically focusing on the commandment about honoring one's parents.

  • Consider the responsibilities associated with honoring and respecting our parents.

• Station 3: Proverbs Wise Decision Dash

  • Sprint to the Book of Proverbs.

  • Identify a verse that emphasizes the importance of making wise decisions and being accountable for our actions.

  • Reflect on how this verse encourages responsible decision-making in our lives.

• Station 4: Parable Participation

  • Transition to the New Testament, exploring the parables shared by Jesus.

  • Choose a parable that highlights the theme of responsibility, such as the Parable of the Talents.

  • Unpack the lessons on stewardship and responsibility conveyed through the parable.

Reflections:

• After completing each relay station, reflect on how the biblical passages you explored inform your understanding of responsibility.

• Consider questions such as: How do these teachings guide us in being responsible stewards of our environment, relationships, and talents? How can we integrate these principles into our daily lives?

Project: 

• Create an interactive display or presentation illustrating the responsibilities uncovered in the relay, emphasizing their relevance in modern life. You will be sharing this with the class.
