On a scorching summer night, the narrator battles insomnia by exploring random profiles on Instagram: the dreamy housewife, the smooth-talking artist with a few skeletons in his closet; the writer plagued by creative block, the Japanese teenager with a passion for European folklore, the most unlikely actress, intertwined LGBT lives spanning across the ocean, and a deadly game between a criminologist and one of her devoted readers. You were drenched in blood, and the twins were laughing the whole time. In the end, you collapsed to the ground. We thought you were dead”.
Follow up to The Day I became a Joe, this short story completes the arc of original character Robert La Marmora. Fanfic set in the G.I. Joe universe.
