New to Twitter Chats? No problem! Here are some steps you can take to participate in #VirtualMusEdChat... or any Twitter chat!

To participate LIVE:

Step 1: Set a calendar reminder for Wednesdays at 8:00pm ET (GMT-4). Currently, #VirtualMusEdChat is 30 minutes long. As we grow, the chat duration may grow with us!

Step 2: Open Twitter on the web or in an app and search for #VirtualMusEdChat. Be sure to view "Latest" tweets to see the chat in realtime.

Step 3: Introduce yourself. Most people include their name and where they're from, but share what you're comfortable sharing.
Lurking (following along without contributing) is okay, too!

**IMPORTANT: when you participate in the chat, be sure to include the hashtag #VirtualMusEdChat in every tweet, even replies!

Step 4: #VirtualMusEdChat will follow the Qn and An format. This means that, after introductions, the chat moderator will ask questions. The first question will be Q1. When you respond, you should add A1 for your answer. The second question will be Q2... your response will be A2, and so on.
**Be sure to include the hashtag!

Step 5: Enjoy! An archive will also be posted on the Resources page weekly.

Unable to join live?

No problem! You can always search the #VirtualMusEdChat hashtag and add responses when you can!
