More joy in electro - Virtual Me shows how it's done!
Pure fun with electronic music without having to follow a ready-made image or genre: Since November 20, 2021, Virtual Me a.k.a @virtualmeofficial has been making fans of electronic dance music curious on Instagram. Who is hiding behind the ominous name, hoodie sweater, and pixel mask? One can only rumor... but one thing is certain - if you follow this artist, you can expect the finest electronic beats and remakes.
For the first release, the DJ and electronic music performer covers none other than French house icon Daft Punk. The track "Give Life Back To Music" from the duo's last album was specifically hit. The result is surprisingly different - lighter, and above all refreshing. Because the Virtual Me version is more in the house area and immediately heats the mood for dancing with its harmonious, melodic character. The cover can already be found on large and well-known streaming platforms such as Spotify, AppleMusic, and AmazonMusic. This shows that Virtual Me is serious about it and wants to release more tracks in the future.
What exactly can we expect from Virtual Me? He answers that himself in his very first post: "My Inventor created me to give you art and electronic music." The Electronic Music Phantom experiments with a wide variety of styles - from house to techno, trance, drum'n'bass... As well as a wide variety of instruments such as the TR-808 drum machine from Roland, the Minimoog (one of the first synthesizers), the AlphaSphere (a Kind of electronic ball with which you can create beats and melodies) or the Tenori-On (an invention of the Japanese Toshio Iwai with 16 by 16 light buttons, which can be used to control sounds and rhythms. Virtual Me names electronic as inspirations and influences, among other things Music legends such as Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Carl Cox, David Guetta, deadmau5 and - how could it be otherwise - Daft Punk. It's easy to imagine that more characterful cover versions will follow in the future. But the artist already has his songs in view.
Virtual Me - a name that should definitely be remembered.
