MOLA (Major Orchestra Librarians' Association) this past summer of 2020 had their annual conference virtually online. Ten well-known special music librarians and music publishers gathered through Zoom to present a presentation entitled: "Streaming Classical Music in the United States amidst the COVID Crisis."
The collaborative conversation with major U.S. publishers regarding non-commercial music and the unique challenges and opportunities of internet streaming. The panel will be moderated by Alizabeth Nowland, The University of Michigan, and Justin Vibbard, Sarasota Orchestra. Distinguished panelists include representatives from Boosey & Hawkes, Carl Fischer, G. Schirmer, Peer Music, and more.
Administrators, individual musicians, performance librarians and anyone with an interest or involvement in streaming copyrighted music were encouraged to attend.
