Not being able to play with friends and classmates in person is hard! Whether it's to play or to have some support doing school work, opening up a text conversation, the phone or a video chat can really make a big difference.

Talk while you play

Maybe you (or your kids if you are an adult reading this) are already playing games online with your friends, but are you talking to them as well? If the game doesn't have voice or you aren't allowed to use that feature, you can call your friend on the phone and talk while you play.

Write a song together

Maybe you and your friend like music, try writing a song together? You can create a document in Google Drive and share it with one another so you can both take turns writing.

Make a movie together

Work together deciding and planning what the movie will be about. Write a script (how detailed is up to you) and you can each record different parts in your own homes or yards. Then upload the footage and take turns editing.

Play a game

While some of the games on our GAMES page are better for adults, there's lot of games that are tons of fun and will be a lot of fun for kids of various ages to play.

Do your school work together

In school you have other people sitting near you while. you work. Usually you are focused on your work, but sometimes it's nice to turn to a classmate and double check your work. Why not schedule a time and work "next to one another" - just open up a phone call or video chat while you work. Don't get too distracted, but it might make doing your school work at home a little less boring.
