Before joining vVAQ, the following items should be met:

• Ownership of the DCS F/A-18C module

• Must have a HOTAS or joystick, TrackIR, VR, or another head tracking system is highly encouraged

• Must have a working microphone and fluent in English

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of the DCS F/A-18C module including

  • • • • Startup/Shutdown

        • Takeoff/Landing

        • Waypoint navigation

        • AGM-88C employment in PB and TOO modes

        • Basic radar usage

        • Basic AIM-120 and AIM-9 employment
