What is Zoom?

Zoom is a video, audio and chat conferencing platform. Zoom helps organizations and teams stay connected even when they cannot physically be together. While we practice social distancing, Zoom will allow the NY GEAR UP Buffalo team to continue to assist you as you transition from high school into the next chapter of your life.

Do I need to download the Zoom application?

Zoom on your phone or tablet: You must first download the free mobile application from the App store (iPhones) or Google Play (Androids) before you can join a Zoom webinar or office hours. If you do not already have the app, you will be prompted to download Zoom when you click the office hours or webinar link from your phone.

Zoom on your computer or laptop: You do not need to download the Zoom application in order to participate in office hours or webinars.
