HackJA

April 22 & April 23 - Join JA New Jersey for a free virtual Hackathon! A highly interactive virtual event featuring a panel conversation with leaders in tech in NJ, workshops that teach students how to code, and coding challenges! Students receive real-world advice and mentoring on their projects from corporate volunteers during open office hours & network with students while they develop their project. This hackathon features beginner & advanced tracks, as well as an asynchronous learning option. Free for middle and high school students to attend.

Crack the Code

Crack the Code is a series of free virtual coding workshops for elementary to middle school students to introduce or further the principles of Computer Science, Web Development, Cybersecurity and more. Our goal is to inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in different technology fields through hands-on experience and mentorship with volunteer role models. Workshops take place one Saturday per month.

Women's Future Leadership Academy

This collaborative year-long virtual series inspires the next generation of female leaders and brings professional women from a variety of career stages and backgrounds and high schoolgirls across NJ together to share advice, learn new skills, and set goals for the future. Students register for the hour-long sessions held on Wednesdays at 5pm.

JA USA Self-Guided Resources for Students
