ViReverb ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the ViReverb mobile application. 

1. Information We Collect 

ViReverb does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the app. 

Videos and Media Files 

When you select a video, ViReverb accesses the video file you choose to process it with the app's audio effects.

Your selected videos are processed on your device. We do not upload your videos or their audio content to our servers.

The original video file remains untouched. Exported videos are saved on your device according to the app's functionality and Android storage permissions.

2. Advertising

ViReverb uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may collect and use certain information, such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and advertising-related information, to provide, measure, and personalize advertisements, subject to Google's policies and your device settings.

3. Analytics and App Configuration

ViReverb uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config.

Firebase Analytics may collect information about how the app is used, such as app interactions, device information, and diagnostic information. This helps us understand app usage and improve ViReverb.

Firebase Remote Config is used to remotely manage certain app settings and features, including advertising-related configuration.

These services may collect information in accordance with Google's privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing

ViReverb does not sell your personal information.

We do not upload or share your selected videos or their audio content with third parties.

Third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase may independently collect information as described above to provide advertising, analytics, and app configuration services.

5. App Permissions

ViReverb may request access to media files on your device so that you can select a video and apply audio effects to it.

Media Access

ViReverb uses Android's system file picker to allow you to select a video from your device. The app only accesses the media file that you choose for processing.

Your selected video is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

ViReverb does not request access to your contacts, messages, call logs, or other unrelated personal information.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app. Because ViReverb processes your selected videos locally on your device, your video and audio content is not transmitted to our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

ViReverb is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

7. Your Choices

You can stop using ViReverb at any time and uninstall the app from your device.

You can also manage advertising and privacy settings through your Android device and your Google account settings where applicable.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
