Kittens
PeeWee: Only Small in Size!
Breed: DSH grey with faint tabby stripes, white omega symbol on chest!
Born: early Aug, 2024
Gender: male
Health: excellent. Has had check up, deworm and first vaccinations.
Personality: Confident, curious, used to being handled.
Ideal home: anywhere with other pets
Story as told by his foster mum:
"Peewee may be a small package but he packs a lot of personality! He is healthy, medium energy, loves playing with toys and other cats, gets along quickly with dogs, and adores cuddling with his humans. Peewee would do well in a home with another animal friend or two to play with."
We suggest submitting your adoption application asap. Cutiepies like this don't happen every day!
Herman the Purrman
Born: Early July, 2024
Sex: male
Breed & Colour: DSH white with ginger
Ideal Home: anywhere with lots of love
Energy: Low
Health: Excellent, utd on vaccinations
Herman was found hungry and crying outside Virden Carwash this fall. He is a healthy, low-energy kitten who loves snoozing in the sun with his human friends.
He enjoys playing with other kittens and getting to know the older cats and dogs in his foster home, but he prefers a more mellow space to relax and cuddle with his humanoid overseers!
Fun fact: he purrs so much they nicknamed him Herman the Purrman!
Juniper
Sex: female
Breed: DSH
Colour: black
Born: Mid July, 2024
Health: exc. first vaccinations on board.
Ideal Home: quieter, with or without an animal friend
Story:
Juniper was born on the streets of Virden and unfortunately, her mother was killed by a car when her babies were around 8 weeks old.
Juniper was brought into rescue with her brother, Basil, in the fall of 2024. She is healthy with a beautiful soft black coat. Juniper is low-energy, on the quieter/shy side.
While she likes playing with other kittens and comes to her human friends for love and cuddles, she prefers the quiet life. She is still unsure of dogs, but is open to building a relationship slowly. If you adopt both Juniper and her brother Basil, there's a BOGO discount.
Basil, Big Bro to Juniper
Born: mid July 2024
Gender: male
Breed: DSH, black with white spot on chest
Health: Exc. first vaccinations on board.
Like his sister Juniper, Basil was orphaned at just 8 weeks of age while living homeless on the streets of Virden. (in photos, Basil is slightly bigger than Juniper)
Basil is low to medium energy, loves playing with his foster siblings, and sleeps cuddled up with his humans – an absolute sweetheart!
He’s not entirely sure about dogs just yet, but he could be coaxed with patience and time. Basil would do well in a home with or without animal friends, but he would probably appreciate another feline playmate (maybe even his sister Juniper? Ask about our BOGO offer.)
Fun fact: his tail goes into helicopter mode any time you pet him!
Meet George, young, fun and a snappy dresser!
Male, neutered
DSH tabby - classic bullseye markings, stunning!
Born April 2024
Health: utd on vaccinations and dewormer. neutered
Personality: When he's in your arms, George is a cuddly, quiet lover boy who will win your heart instantly. Adores being carried. Put him down and watch him go... Foster mum Erin says:
"George is a friendly, playful, easy-going guy who loves everyone he meets! He would love a home with another playful pet, or a person who has time to spend with their furry friend."
George is being fostered in a home with kids, dogs and other cats, so he'll be a well socialized, well educated young man when he graduates to his forever home.
So hop on over to our adoption application form and ask for George. Or contact us to arrange to meet him.
Tommy the Friendly Mouser
The last available baby from a stunning litter of dilute kittens in the softest hues, brother to Asher and Shade. Recently Tommy has shown interest in being the resident mouser, so if you have a rodent problem indoors, he's your man!
Born Nov. 10, 2023 to mom Echo (also available for adoption, see adult cat page).
Breed: DSH dilute ginger and white tabby
Gender: Male, neutered
Health: exc health, utd on vaccinations, dewormed, ready to roll!
Good with other cats and with people, seems good with children. Fosters are working to get him used to dogs.
Foster mom says: "He's pretty laid back. Still mischievous. He is warming up to the dogs but still wary of them."
"Tommy is a people lover. He loves any sort of attention. He is also mischievous, you will find him doing fun stuff like tearing open unguarded chip bags! When not seeking action, he’s looking for a warm companion to curl up with."
Stuart Little: The Last of the Storybook Gang
Born: Sept. 18, 2023
Breed: DSH, ginger with white markings
Gender: Male, neutered, utd on vaccines
Health: exc.
Activity level: moderate to high
Ideal home: Stuart is used to lots of action in his foster home from kids, dogs and other cats/kittens. He loves it all. He'd like a cat to buddy up with but could adapt to any home with affection on tap!
In the photos of two siblings, Stuart is on the right side. These babies had to grow up quickly as they were orphaned just days after their birth. A sad start to what we know will be a "storybook" life when Stuart, the final sibling, goes to his forever home.
As orphans, they had to be bottle fed by their loving foster mum Erin which means they are deeply bonded to humans.
