Vira is a Ukrainian artist who works with intuitive processes as the core method of her practice, exploring themes of feminine presence, transformation, and interaction with natural forces. She creates works at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and personal mythology, using drawing, watercolor, oil, and mixed media. Her visual language is rooted in deep intuitive exploration, memory work, embodiment, and archetypes.
For Vira, the artistic process is a mindfulness practice — a dialogue with the unconscious, a spontaneous reflection of inner shifts. Her works emerge in the space between sensation and image, between gesture and silence. The visual form appears as a trace of inner movement, without prior planning, in close contact with deeper psychic layers.
This practice has no predefined structure. Instead, spontaneity, openness to the process, and engagement with the unconscious are key elements of her artistic language. Her visual expression is shaped by intuition, direct gesture, and a deep connection with the inner image.
Vira received classical art education at the Kharkiv and Lviv Art Academies, where she studied painting, graphics, and sculpture. She also studied in private studios and worked with animation. Vira holds a degree in dramatic theatre directing and has professional experience in television and video production. She lives and works in Europe.
