We use virtual dollars rather than points to track player performance. Each player who enters the tournament will have $100 charged against his tournament bankroll statistic. These charges make up the prize pool, which is distributed to the top eight finishers as follows: 36%, 21%, 15%, 10%, 8%, 5%, 3%, 2%.
A separate bankroll statistic is kept for ring games. A player gets an initial buy-in of $5000 in chips when he enters a ring game and may get another buy-in of $5000 in chips whenever his stack falls below $4000. When a player cashes out, his buy-ins are subtracted from his cash-out and his bankroll statistic is updated. Each $100 chip represents $1 of bankroll.
In a heads-up challenge tournament each player gets a buy-in of $5000 in chips. These buy-ins will be added to that day's ring game buy-ins for each player and the winner will have $10,000 added to his ring game cash-out for that day.
Our monthly cash tournaments do not affect the bankroll statistics.
