Frenchman formation is a stratigraphic unit of Late Cretaceous, overlying the Battle formation and underlying the Ravenscrag formation.

Stratigraphic columns covered a horizontal range of 65m, spacing from 0m, 20m, 32.5m, 45m, and 65m. The thickness of layers and contacts were measured at a horizontal level using a perpendicular meter rod and a ruler.
Keen observations on colours, grain size, sorting, materials, fossils of eight layers of five stratigraphic columns.
