Frenchman formation is a stratigraphic unit of Late Cretaceous, overlying the Battle formation and underlying the Ravenscrag formation.
Stratigraphy and lithology of the layers in Frenchman formation. The study area is located in Chambery Coulee, southeastern SK, Canada.
Stratigraphic columns covered a horizontal range of 65m, spacing from 0m, 20m, 32.5m, 45m, and 65m. The thickness of layers and contacts were measured at a horizontal level using a perpendicular meter rod and a ruler.
Keen observations on colours, grain size, sorting, materials, fossils of eight layers of five stratigraphic columns.
