Vinot is a teleprompter, script-writing, notes, projects, tasks, calendar, planning, synchronization, AI, and backup application.
The App allows users to:
create and edit scripts and notes;
use full-screen and floating teleprompter modes;
organize content with projects, folders, tags, and labels;
create tasks, reminders, and calendar items;
add photos and voice notes;
use AI-assisted writing and image-generation features;
synchronize supported content with Notion, Microsoft OneNote, and Obsidian;
create Google Drive and local backups;
customize the appearance and behavior of the App.
Most user-created content is stored locally on the user's device unless the user explicitly chooses to use synchronization, backup, AI, or another online feature.
Content created in Vinot may include:
notes;
teleprompter scripts;
projects;
folders;
tags and labels;
tasks;
calendar items;
reminders;
checklists;
tables;
photos;
voice notes;
formatting information;
application preferences.
This content is primarily stored locally on the user's device.
Vinot does not automatically publish or make this content publicly available.
Content may leave the device only when the user intentionally uses a feature that requires external processing, such as synchronization, Google Drive backup, AI functionality, or sharing/exporting content.
Vinot provides two teleprompter modes:
full-screen teleprompter;
floating teleprompter over other applications.
The floating teleprompter uses Android's Display over other apps capability (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW).
This permission is used only to display the teleprompter window above another application, such as a camera, recording, streaming, presentation, or social media application.
The overlay permission itself does not give Vinot access to the contents, messages, passwords, text fields, or private information displayed inside other applications.
The user must explicitly grant this permission through Android system settings and may revoke it at any time.
Vinot uses the Android Foreground Service permission, including:
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE
This service is required to keep the floating teleprompter running reliably while the user is actively using another application.
The foreground service:
starts only when the user explicitly launches the floating teleprompter;
operates only while the teleprompter is in use;
is visible to the user through Android's foreground-service notification/system indicators;
can be stopped by closing the floating teleprompter.
The foreground service is not used for hidden background monitoring or unrelated activity.
Vinot may request access to the device microphone when the user chooses to record a voice note.
Microphone access is used only while recording audio initiated by the user.
Voice recordings are stored as part of the user's App content and are not continuously recorded in the background.
Vinot does not use the microphone for advertising or background surveillance.
Vinot allows users to add photos and other supported media to notes.
Depending on the Android version and device, access may be provided through Android's system media picker or applicable media permissions.
Vinot accesses only the media required for the feature the user chooses to use.
Selected media may also be included in synchronization or backup operations when applicable and initiated by the user.
Vinot may request permission to send notifications.
Notifications are used for features such as:
reminders;
tasks;
calendar events;
teleprompter foreground-service status;
other user-requested App notifications.
Users can disable notification permission at any time through Android system settings.
Vinot's internal calendar and planning functionality is used to organize content created inside the App.
Vinot includes optional AI-powered features for working with text and images.
AI actions may include:
writing text;
continuing text;
improving text;
shortening text;
correcting grammar;
creating lists;
summarizing;
following custom AI instructions;
generating images.
When the user intentionally activates an AI feature, the prompt, selected text, custom instruction, or other content necessary to complete the request may be transmitted to the AI service used by the App.
Only content required to process the user's request is intended to be transmitted.
AI features are optional. Users do not need to use AI functionality to create or manage local notes and scripts.
The processing of information by third-party AI services may also be subject to the privacy policy and terms of the applicable AI provider.
Vinot can synchronize supported content with Notion when the user explicitly connects the service.
When synchronization is enabled, information selected for synchronization may be transmitted between Vinot and Notion as required to provide the feature.
Vinot only accesses Notion resources authorized by the user and required for the synchronization functionality.
Users can disconnect Notion and revoke access through the appropriate service or application settings.
Vinot can synchronize supported content with Microsoft OneNote after the user authorizes the connection.
Information required for synchronization may be transmitted between Vinot and Microsoft services.
Vinot uses this access only to provide the synchronization functionality requested by the user.
Microsoft's handling of information is also governed by Microsoft's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Vinot supports synchronization with Obsidian-compatible content or storage locations.
Depending on the configuration selected by the user, synchronized files may remain on the device or be stored in a location controlled by the user.
Vinot uses the selected location only to provide the requested synchronization functionality.
Vinot allows users to create and restore backups using Google Drive.
When the user enables this feature, Vinot may access the Google account and Google Drive functionality required to:
create backup files;
locate App backup files;
restore previously created backups;
manage backup data required by the feature.
Google Drive backup is optional and initiated by the user.
Backup data stored in Google Drive remains subject to the user's Google account settings and Google's privacy practices.
Vinot also supports local backup.
Local backups are stored in a location selected or controlled by the user.
Krepel Studio does not receive local backup files unless the user independently chooses to share them.
Users are responsible for protecting and managing locally exported backup files.
Vinot uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertising.
According to Google's current Android disclosure for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK may automatically collect and share information including:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
user interactions with the App and advertisements;
diagnostic and performance information;
device and account identifiers;
Android Advertising ID, when available and permitted;
App Set ID and other applicable identifiers.
Google may use this information for purposes including:
advertising;
ad measurement;
analytics;
fraud prevention;
security.
Advertising data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is handled according to Google's applicable privacy policies and advertising requirements.
Ad personalization may depend on the user's consent, location, device settings, Google advertising settings, and applicable law.
Krepel Studio does not sell users' notes, scripts, projects, voice recordings, photos, or other user-created Vinot content to advertisers.
Vinot may offer paid or Pro functionality through Google Play Billing.
Payments are processed by Google Play.
Krepel Studio does not receive users' complete payment card details.
Vinot may receive information required to verify a purchase and unlock purchased functionality, such as purchase status or entitlement information.
Google's processing of payment information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.
Vinot uses internet connectivity when required for online functionality, including:
advertising;
Google Drive backup;
Notion synchronization;
Microsoft OneNote synchronization;
AI functionality;
purchase verification;
other explicitly requested online operations.
Core locally stored notes and scripts can be managed without transmitting them merely because internet access is available.
Depending on the features used, Vinot may interact with third-party services including:
Google AdMob;
Google Play;
Google Drive;
Notion;
Microsoft OneNote;
Obsidian-related storage selected by the user;
AI service providers.
Information is shared with these services only when necessary to provide the relevant feature or when required by law.
Each third-party provider processes information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
Locally stored Vinot content generally remains on the device until the user:
deletes the content;
clears the App's data;
removes the App;
replaces or restores App data.
Local backup files remain until the user deletes them.
Google Drive backups and synchronized copies may remain in the user's connected service until they are deleted by the user or handled according to that service's retention policies.
Advertising, billing, synchronization, and AI providers may retain information according to their own applicable policies.
Users can control their information by:
deleting notes, scripts, tasks, projects, and other content;
deleting local backups;
deleting Google Drive backups;
disconnecting synchronization services;
revoking permissions in Android settings;
disabling notifications;
revoking Display over other apps permission;
clearing App data;
uninstalling Vinot.
Users may also manage or revoke access through their Google, Microsoft, Notion, or other connected service accounts where applicable.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Vinot.
Where information is transmitted to supported online services, modern encrypted connections are used where provided by the relevant service or SDK.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should protect access to their device, connected accounts, backup files, and sensitive information stored in notes.
Users may:
choose whether to use synchronization;
choose whether to use Google Drive backup;
choose whether to use AI functionality;
grant or revoke microphone access;
grant or revoke notification permission;
grant or revoke Display over other apps permission;
control advertising preferences through applicable Google and Android settings;
delete their locally stored content.
Declining optional permissions may disable the corresponding feature but does not necessarily prevent use of unrelated Vinot functionality.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Vinot's functionality, permissions, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change.
When changes are made, the Last updated date at the top of this Policy will be revised.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
