Our research group at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) focusses on the application of Foresight Techniques for acheiving Sustainability Transitions in the Indian context. Sustainability transitions are complex and interdisciplinary problems. We develop new methods and Integrated Assessment Frameworks that can guide individuals and policymakers for decision making. We use tools such as scenario planning, system dynamics, life cycle assessment (LCA), techno-economic analysis, and multicriteria decision making for our studies. This also involves the development and assessment of future policy instruments for guiding Just Transitions.
