I am an Adjunct (Substitute) Professor at the Institute of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IE/UFRJ). I am also a Research Associate at the Center for Empirical Studies in Economics (FGV-Rio CEEE). I also serve as an Associate Editor of the Revista Científica da FAMINAS.
I hold a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Bocconi University and both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IE/UFRJ).
My research agenda lies at the intersection of development economics and public policy evaluation. I use causal inference methods combined with administrative, historical, and geospatial data to study the effects of public policies and the role of persistent spatial and institutional factors in shaping socioeconomic outcomes, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations.
