I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) and a Research Associate/Postdoc researcher at the Center for Empirical Studies in Economics (FGV-Rio CEEE). I hold a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Bocconi University and both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I also serve as Associate Editor of the Revista Científica da FAMINAS.
As an applied microeconomist, my research explores the intersection of development economics and economic history. It combines causal inference, historical data, and geospatial analysis to examine how policy and persistence shape socioeconomic outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations.
