I am a forthcoming Adjunct (Substitute) Professor at the Institute of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IE/UFRJ). I am also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) and a Research Associate at the Center for Empirical Studies in Economics (FGV-Rio CEEE). In addition, I serve as an Associate Editor of the Revista Científica da FAMINAS.
I hold a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Bocconi University and both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IE/UFRJ).
My research agenda lies at the intersection of development economics and economic history. Using causal inference methods alongside historical and geospatial data, I study how public policies and persistent spatial and institutional factors shape socioeconomic outcomes, especially among vulnerable populations.
