Vinh is an experienced health economist, policy expert, and government affairs professional based in Melbourne. He works across economic and health policy research, policy analysis, health economic evaluation, health technology assessment, access to medicines, and government affairs for both public and private sectors.
He has held research, teaching, and consulting roles at Monash University’s Centre for Health Economics, the University of Queensland, CSIRO, Cornwalls Law, and recently Shawview Consulting. Earlier in his career, he worked in policy and industry affairs for the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Australia, and in corporate affairs with Coca-Cola.
Vinh holds bachelor degrees in Economics and Law from Vietnam, and a Master of Economics and Public Policy from the University of Queensland (Dean’s Honour Roll). He is completing a PhD in Health Economics at Monash Business School on artificial intelligence in healthcare, and has received several prestigious awards including the Monash Business School HDR Symposium Winner, Best Paper for Policy Impact (Centre for Health Economics, Monash University), Research Impact Poster Presentation Winner (Monash Business School) and PhRMA Foundation Trainee Award.
