Research Interests
My main interests are in Algebraic Geometry and Representation Theory. In particular, I study the geometry of spaces of tensors enriched by group actions. Recently I also started working on relations between Algebraic Geometry and Topological Data Analysis, in particular studying signature tensors associated to persistence barcodes. I also enjoy investigating more applied problems linked to Quantum Information, Algebraic Statistics and, more recently, Genetic Biology. During some previous collaborations, I got into toric varieties too, as well as equivariant cohomology and intersection theory.
