About me

This is Jinhe Ye (叶谨赫), a mathematician. I'm commonly known as Vincent to the mathematical community.  My research interest lies in model theory, a branch of mathematical logic. In particular, I am interested in its interactions with algebraic geometry and non-archimedean geometry.

Currently, I am a Titchmarsh Research Fellow at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. I work in the mathematical logic group, mainly under the direction of Ehud Hrushovski. Here is my departmental homepage. Besides my departmental appointment, I am a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College in Oxford.

Prior to joining Oxford, I was an FSMP postdoc at IMJ-PRG and a postdoc at MSRI, working with François Loeser. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame under the supervision of Sergei Starchenko. I did my undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore.
