Vincent is a Junior Backend Engineer at ActivEdge Technologies, a potential unicorn tech company based in Nigeria. He’s passionate about building scalable, intelligent automation systems for small to large-scale enterprises across the globe — but what truly sets him apart is his deep-rooted commitment to education.

Growing up with a mother who’s a teacher, Vincent was immersed early in the world of learning. He assisted with private lessons and eventually began teaching his own, turning education into both a passion and a purpose. Due to his passion for education, Vincent is determined to use his skills in software engineering to improve both traditional and informal learning systems — especially the private tutoring space he knows so well.

Before joining ActivEdge, Vincent interned at M365Connect, a Latvia-based recruitment company, where he contributed to an AI-powered recruitment system. He specifically led the development of the web scraping and data cleaning functionality, showcasing his knack for backend problem-solving.

Vincent holds a degree in Economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and earned a Diploma in Web Application Development with Python from APTech Computer Institute, graduating with distinction. He currently specializes in Backend Software Development, with aspirations to grow into a Senior Backend Engineer — not just for the title, but to amplify his impact in tech-driven education.

He believes in selling value like a business, building a personal brand that reflects his mission, and leveraging networking to unlock opportunities beyond job boards.
