BIOGRAPHY....
I am a Research Associate at Robert H. Lurie Comphrensive Cancer Center, Northwestern Univeristy, Chicago, Illinois, USA. The overall theme of my research theme is the identification and therapeutically targeting of the genes that drive the progression of aggressive prostate cancer. I have expertise in studying oncogenes and targeted therapies , and their impact on the tumor immune microenvironment of prostate cancer from a mechanistic, biomarker and therapeutic perspective. My work has resulted in the translation of bench-side discoveries to bedside applications, including an early phase clinical trial of immunotherapy in adrenocorticoid carcinoma and also phase II clinical trials of recombinant EphB4-HSA fusion protein on metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). My current research goal is to characterize investigational drugs for their safety, efficacy, and on-target effects in animal tumor models. My goal is to delineate the molecular mechanism and characterization of the novel targets through a “precision and personalized approach”, that can be employed for developing more effective therapies.
