Dr. Vinayak Bhanage is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Planetary Health and Innovation Science (PHIS), The IDEC Institute, Hiroshima University, Japan. He holds a Ph.D. in Resources Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, awarded with the DST-INSPIRE Fellowship of the Government of India.
His research focuses on sustainability, and climate change, with expertise in urban climate, sustainable buildings, high-resolution climate modeling, remote sensing, and GIS. His work aims to support climate-resilient, low-carbon, and energy-efficient urban development through interdisciplinary and data-driven research.
