Around February 2020, I offered myself to assist Ms. Mega, my CALL lecturer in the previous semester, to fill the workshops in her class. I made this presentation to share on how as future English teachers we should be able to make 'grammatical' grammar quiz.
This is the presentation that I made with my friends, and I re-presented it when I assisted Ms. Mega. This presentation is about how to create a well-designed reading module. It's a challenge to make reading fun.
In 2019 when I took CALL, my group should made an example of a well-designed reading module. So, besides making the presentation, we also made the example. I made this module based on a story from TED-Ed YouTube Channel. I re-wrote the text, put them in order, and organized the illustration.
My group got assigned to explain about assessing grammar. The presentation includes types of grammar assessment that can be done in a class, especially Indonesian classroom with our curriculum. Our main reference for this presentation is Hughes' Testing for Language Teachers (2003).
This final project was sort of continuation of our LPD final project. In LPD, we made the full lesson plan. One of the aspects of a lesson plan is the assessment. In LLA, we made the final assessment of the lesson plan.
There are some principles in Language Assessment. We were assigned to compare Brown's (2004) principle with the principles in Permendikbud (2016). Here is my group's discussion result.
This is our final project of LPD. I worked with my friend, Rebecca. We made a complete lesson plan for Recount text (grade 8). There are 7 meetings in total.
One of the supporting aspects in learning is the activity. We brainstormed the activity, and I made it into one complete learning module.
In addition to the main materials, we also prepared for the remedy. This is the remedial that we have prepared.
