I am a senior economist at the International Monetary Fund, currently in the Monetary and Macroprudential Policies division. I have participated in Financial Stability Assessment, Surveillance, and Capacity Development missions for a wide range of countries, covering monetary, financial, and fiscal policies. More recently, I have focused on monetary policy for the euro area and macroprudential policy for India. My research interests include monetary policy and the role of uncertainty and learning in asset prices and policy design. I obtained my Ph.D. from Brandeis University and my B.A. from Smith College, both in Economics.
