To explore astro photography, I ventured onto my rooftop with my Nikon Coolpix P510 and tripod, eager to capture the beauty of the full moon. The incredible 42X optical zoom allowed me to photograph the moon in stunning detail, revealing its craters and surface features with remarkable clarity. The serene and magical presence of the moon was a humbling reminder of the vastness of our universe. Did you know? Because a full moon occurs every 29.5 days, we sometimes see two full 🌕 moons in a calender month. This second full moon is called a "Blue Moon", which tends to happen every two and a half years.
