As an aspiring nature and wildlife photographer based in Kollam, Kerala, I am always on the lookout for unique and beautiful moments in my surroundings. On this particular day, I ventured to the beach with my first camera ~ Nikon Coolpix P510 with an amazing 42X optical zoom (which was bought after my elder brother personally handpicked it for our first family trip abroad). I was lucky to capture this egret in its natural habitat, searching for its next meal against the golden sands. This image not only turned out beautifully after some post-processing but also ignited my passion ♨️ for wildlife photography, making me realize the potential and beauty that lies within my lens 📸.
