The Key change was adding two wide ledges around the house, one on top of the other. These ledges act like hats, protecting the house from direct sunlight, just like how a hat shields your eyes. The house has big windows for enjoying the view, so it's important to protect them a bit. Also, the ledges are designed curved to represent the waves of the Caribbean Ocean. In such a natural green location, it's nicer to have a horizontal building,to preserve the overall environment view, and these ledges help us see how different the building looks with or without them.

In the revised design, attention was directed to the street-side facade, specifically to the terrace layout. Originally, a covered section provided shelter during hot afternoons, impacting the villa's front facing the street. To address this, the covered part of the terrace was replaced with movable umbrellas for adaptable shade. The terrace's design now favors evening and night use over hot daytime conditions.

Removing the terrace covering with an increase in the height of the vertical element containing the staircase. This taller element breaks the villa's horizontal appearance on the main facade while preserving the intended horizontal look facing the sea. 

Additionally, minor adjustments were made by aligning the height of the third vertical volume with the terrace floor level, refining the overall design. By reducing the number of dominant vertical elements from two to one, the aim was to emphasize the villa's horizontal aesthetic."

The Last adjustment involved connecting the building to the cabana. This was achieved by expanding the previous ledges, creating an impression that the house envelops the cabana, making it an integrated part of the entire structure. In contrast to the original design, where the cabana seemed somewhat isolated and separate from the house, this new connection enhances the visual appeal significantly.
