Bio

Dan Vilenchik joined the department of Communication Systems Engineering in October 2014, after a one year postdoctoral fellowship at the EECS department at UC Berkeley with Prof. Alistair Sinclair, followed by two years of Hedrick Assistant Professorship at the UCLA mathematics department.

Dan holds a PhD in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University (2009), under the supervision of Prof. Michael Krivelevich, winning the Dean's Excellence Award for PhD students ; MSc in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute (2004), under the supervision of Prof. Uriel Feige and a BA in Computer Science from the Technion (cum laude, 2001).
