Viktor Stojkoski
I am a Macedonian scientist with a Ph.D. in both Computer Science (2020) and Economics (2023).
I am dedicated to unraveling the complexities of economics through multidisciplinary approaches. For my work I won the national award for best young social scientist of North Macedonia in 2022.
My research predominantly delves into two key areas:
Economic Geography: I leverage economic complexity techniques to understand the intricacies of economic development.
Economic Mobility: I employ statistical mechanics techniques to decipher the dynamics of economic inequality.
Currently, I hold a position at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. Additionally, and I am a visiting researcher at the Center for Collective Learning at the Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute. My commitment to fostering a love for research has also led me to become a member of The Association for Research and Analysis—a non-governmental organization aimed at kindling the research spirit among the youth.
Beyond academia, my passion extends to assisting practitioners in crafting policy interventions that target structural development and the enhancement of social conditions.
