Viktor Stojkoski
I am a Macedonian scientist with a dual Ph.D. in Computer Science (2020) and Economics (2023).
I am dedicated to unraveling the complexities of economics through multidisciplinary approaches. For my work I won the national award for best young social scientist of North Macedonia in 2022 and, subsequently in 2023, the University award for best social scientist.
My research predominantly delves into two key areas:
Economic Geography: I leverage economic complexity techniques to understand the intricacies of economic development.
Economic Mobility: I employ statistical mechanics techniques to decipher the dynamics of economic inequality.
Currently, I hold a position at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. Additionally, and I am a visiting researcher at the Center for Collective Learning at the Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute.
Beyond academia, my passion extends to assisting practitioners in crafting policy interventions that target structural development and the enhancement of social conditions.
