The story is quite tragic. A man killed his wife and daughter under the influence of alcohol. In the first frame, the main character is walking down the stairs, leaving trash behind him, because he himself is like it. The second frame is the moment of realization: the ghosts you see are his wife and daughter. And the third frame shows photographs of a once-happy family that, unfortunately, has fallen apart…
The idea is that even the most pitiful people can become the most terrifying monsters. That's what we see is not always the truth. And how destructive addictions can be, leading to truly horrifying consequences.
Out of 8 frames, I chose 3 that in my opinion, best convey thes story.
It tells the story of a grandmother who no longer feels joy in life and lives in a grey, colorless world. One day, she decides to visit a restaurant she used to go to many years ago. She orders a dish she once loved and begins to remember herself and her loved one in their youth. In that restaurant, the colors return to her world.
The main idea is that sometimes even a small thing can bring back our joy in life.
The storyboard is still unfinished. In the first frame, you can see flowers that lack bright colors—they are withered, symbolizing hatred and self-rejection. But even among them, you can find light: fireflies that guide the way to hope. In the second frame, you can see two versions of the same person. In the blue flowers, there is the adult version who hates themselves; in the yellow flowers, there is the child version who loves themselves just as they are. In the final frame, the adult version is crying in the arms of their younger self. This symbolizes self-acceptance.
