There are not much issues if you want to travel across this state. Trains are available on regular basis which you can use. Buses and auto-rickshaws are available outside railway station which you can take to go to your spot. If you go in off-season the fare will be higher because then you will have to reserve the vehicle just for yourself. Most of the places which are popular among tourists entertains people the entire year. But some places like Rishi kund and Kakolath have a particular time of the year when people go.
Tourist infrastructure like Tourist Bungalow, Cafeteria, Restaurant, Transportation facilities and Ropeway are provided at various tourists spots by Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation. Hotels are available near tourists spot where you can stay and get ready for the next day. Private hotels and transports can also be booked only if, they have kept the fares as decided by the government.
The roads are in good condition now as compared to few years back. There are many off beat places which are not mapped on the government website. If you wish to travel to such places you will have to reserve a vehicle. It will cost you more but once you reach the destination, it will be worth spending money.
