• Vikings Wrestling Club is open to boys & girls in grades K-8.

• Our season begins with practice on November 2nd from 6 pm to 8 pm. Normal practice days are Mon, Tues & Thurs.

• Tournaments will announced as schedules are established

• All tournaments are voluntary, wrestlers can choose to compete in all or only a few.

• We host 2 home tournaments as our club fundraiser. State Line Brawl - Dec 6th and Bristol Brawl - Jan 3rd.

• As we do not ask our club participants to sell items or other fundraisers, we have the following requirement: A representative from each family is required to volunteer at each of our tournaments. In lieu of volunteering you may choose to pay an opt out fee of $200 per tournament. Please be sure to carefully read the Volunteer/Opt Out Policy (during the registration process) regarding volunteering at our tournament.

• All wrestlers must have an AAU Card to participate. Cards can be obtained at www.aausports.org. Click Join AAU>>>Get a Membership>>>Apply for Youth Athlete Membership>>>Choose Wrestling as sport>>>choose Extended membership ($16)>>>input Club Code: WYAAF9

• Clean wrestling shoes are required for all practices. Shorts & t-shirts are appropriate practice attire. Wrestling shoes should not be worn outside, even to/from the car.

• Wrestling shoes, a singlet, and headgear are required to participate in tournaments. Shoes and headgear can be purchased online or at Dicks Sporting Goods. Singlets will be ordered at the close of registration and should arrive in 6 weeks. All other tournaments require a singlet. Singlet cost is TBA.

• Our coaching staff has been carefully chosen and we follow a very disciplined philosophy and practice structure. We can always use extra coaching help and no experience is necessary. If you would like to volunteer to help coach, you must go through the AAU coaching certification process which includes a background check. If you are interested in helping coach, please speak with Jeremy Spangler or Tim Marshall.
