At Auburn, I work with the Hunger Solutions institute and Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural sociology. Our team implement two nutrition incentive programs for SNAP households: "Double up Food Bucks (DUFBs) Alabama" funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) and "Addmilk", implemented across multiple U.S. states, funded by the Food and Nutrition Service(FNS), USDA. I have expertise in the area of dietary quality, food at home and away from home, and food assistance programs such as the National School Lunch program (NSLP) and SNAP.
I earned my PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics, along with an Applied Statistics Certificate, from Texas A&M University. I specialize in quasi-experimental econometrics and machine learning methods. During my PhD, I interned with Amazon's marketing measurement team as an economist, where I estimated the impact of the Prime membership fee hike on the purchase behavior of Amazon Prime members using quasi-experimental methods. My CV can be found here.
