Vijay Kumar

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics from IIT Bombay, where my research focused on Adomian polynomials and fractional stochastic processes. My work spans areas such as probability theory, stochastic processes, data science, and distribution theory. I have published in leading journals, including Stochastic Analysis and Applications, and have contributed to several book chapters on statistical theory.

In addition to my research, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students. I have taught courses on probability, statistics, regression analysis, and applied stochastic processes at institutions like IIT Bombay and UPES Dehradun. I am also actively involved in interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
