3. I have started my career as a journalist from last 27 years. Since last 20 years Iam working as divisional reporter in Vita (Maharashtra, Dist. Sangli).
4.Professional journey — At 2000, I started as correspondent of Daily Kesari and Daily Saamana, in Budhgaon (Tal.Miraj, Dist.-Sangli)
Important milestones -
* While working for Dainik Lokmat, I spent six months wandering with the shepherds of the Manndesh region, living among their sheep and goats to study their way of life. I personally experienced their pain, struggles, daily existence, and their journey of survival ("jagalya janen"). Through a five-part series titled "Aamhi Jagayla Jaato" (We Go Out to Live) published consecutively in Dainik Lokmat, I brought their hard ships and agony to the forefront of the world.
* While working as the Atpadi Taluka reporter for the Daily newspaper Pudhari, I conducted a study on how to make the Manganga River—which flows across the border of Sangli, Satara, and Solapur districts—flow perennially throughout all twelve months of the year. I gathered information through interviews with local residents, subject matter experts, researchers, and engineers, and compiled it into three serial of articles, BARMAHI MANGANGA each consisting of 12 parts. These articles received an overwhelming and tremendous response from the public.
* While working for the daily newspaper Pudhari, I frequently wrote well-researched, analytical, and critical articles regarding the works of the Tembhu Lift Irrigation Scheme. As a positive outcome of this advocacy, this largest water-lifting scheme in the Asian continent finally materialized.
5. My experience in the poultry industry -I wrote an extensive serial article series titled "Viticha Poultry Udyog" (The Poultry Industry of Vita) consisting of as many as 32 parts in the daily newspaper Pudhari. Through this, I highlighted not only the issues of the poultry industry in Vita but also the problems faced by poultry business owners across Maharashtra, along with potential solutions.
Building upon that, I have now authored and published a comprehensive book titled "Maharashtra Poultry Udyogachi Suvarnapane" (Golden Pages of Maharashtra's Poultry Industry). This book presents a detailed account of the history of poultry farming, the challenges, difficulties, and success stories within this business, information on various companies, government rules and laws, and the overall efforts of the government and individuals.
