Plants are a lot like us — they need the right food to grow strong and healthy. To grow well, flower beautifully, and produce tasty fruits, plants depend on different nutrients.
These nutrients are grouped into macronutrients and micronutrients.
Macronutrients
Nitrogen (N): Promotes leafy growth and green color; supports foliage in flowering and fruit plants.
Phosphorus (P): Phosphorus supports strong roots and helps plants produce flowers and fruits. Without it, plants may struggle to bloom or bear properly.
Potassium (K): Potassium improves overall strength. It helps plants fight diseases and maintain fruit quality (size, taste, shelf life).
Secondary Nutrients
Calcium: Strengthens cell walls and prevents fruit disorders.
Magnesium: Magnesium keeps leaves green and supports photosynthesis.
Sulfur: Sulfur helps in building proteins and improves flavor
Micronutrients
Even tiny amounts of micronutrients like iron and zinc are essential — just like vitamins for us.
Iron, Zinc, Boron, Manganese, Copper, Molybdenum are needed in small amounts for accelerated activity, flowering, and proper fruit development.
Thus, when plants receive balanced nutrition, commercial crops give better yields, flowers bloom more beautifully, and fruits grow healthier and tastier.
