VIII COLLOQUIUM ON GEOPHYSICAL SIGNATURES OF EARTHQUAKES, VOLCANOES AND LANDSLIDES

The VIII Colloquium on Geophysical Signatures of Earthquakes, Volcanoes and Landslides (GSEV+L) will bring together researchers, students, and professionals to discuss recent advances in the geophysical study of earthquakes, volcanic activity, and landslides, as well as their associated risks.

The colloquium aims to foster the exchange of ideas and results related to the acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of geophysical and geodetic data, contributing to a better understanding of the physical processes that control the generation of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and the occurrence of landslides.

The community is invited to submit contributions addressing these phenomena from different perspectives, including observational, experimental, and modeling studies, as well as interdisciplinary approaches focused on the assessment of natural hazards and socio-natural risks.

The colloquium will take place on November 11, 12, and 13, 2026, at the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas, University of Chile, and will be free of charge for all participants.
