This Privacy Policy applies to the Vidyut Calc: Electrician App (hereby referred to as "the App") for mobile devices.
The App is designed to perform offline electrical calculations. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to any external servers operated by us.
All your calculation histories, saved data, and generated reports are stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear the app's data, this local information will be permanently deleted.
While the App itself does not collect personal data, we utilize third-party services to support certain features, such as displaying advertisements and processing in-app purchases. These third-party providers have their own Privacy Policies addressing how they use such information.
Google AdMob: The free version of the App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information, such as advertising IDs and usage data, to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
Google Play Services & Billing: We use Google Play Billing to securely process in-app purchases (e.g., upgrading to the Pro version). We do not collect or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. All transactions are securely processed by Google.
To function correctly, the App may request the following permissions on your device:
Internet Access: Required to fetch advertisements (via Google AdMob) and communicate with Google Play Services for in-app billing verification.
Storage Access (Older Android Versions): Required only on older Android versions (Android 9 and below) to save exported PDF reports to your device's Documents folder.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
