1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile information, login credentials, learning preferences, chat conversations with AI, reading history, bookmarks, wishlist, subscription details, payment transaction metadata, and customer support communications. 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, provide AI-powered learning features, personalize recommendations, synchronize your reading progress, process payments, improve our services, comply with legal obligations, and respond to support requests.

3. AI Processing

When you use AI features, your questions together with relevant book content may be securely processed by trusted AI service providers solely to generate responses. We do not intentionally use your personal conversations to train our own AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

Vidyora may use trusted third-party services including authentication providers, cloud hosting providers, payment processors, AI providers, notification services, and analytics services where applicable. These providers process information only for providing the requested services.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by secure payment providers such as Razorpay or Google Play Billing where applicable. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account information.

We use HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, password hashing, access controls, monitoring, and other industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Your personal information is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Certain financial records may be retained where required by law.

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. After verification, we will delete your personal information except where retention is legally required for taxation, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, or dispute resolution.

11. App Permissions

The application may request permissions such as Internet access, Notifications, and Microphone . Permissions are requested only when necessary.

12. Information We Do Not Sell

We do not sell your personal information and do not use your information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

13. Google Play Data Safety

Information collected through Vidyora is handled securely, transmitted using encryption where appropriate, and processed only for providing and improving our services. Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date and, where appropriate, notifying users within the application.
