N. Kumaran: Managing Trustee, a senior community leader with over 35 years of experience in mobilising Adivasi communities and advancing rights, livelihoods, and self-governance. An early grassroots member of ACCORD and AMS, he helped build key community institutions.
P. Shanthi: Correspondent of the Adivasi School, from the community, with over two decades of experience in community-based, contextual education, she now provides academic and institutional leadership.
Rama Sastry: Educationist, co-founder of the Vidyodaya Adivasi School, which evolved into VBVT in response to the Adivasi Munnetra Sangam’s vision for culturally rooted education.
Seetha Prakash: Trained as a nurse from the community in the initial batches of ASHWINI, with over 30 years of experience in making healthcare accessible to the community. She has worked as a health animator, mobilising village-level initiatives and helping build community-led structures.
K. Bindhu: Trained as a nurse, with 28 years of experience as an area health animator. Coming from the community, she has mobilised village-level health initiatives across over 30 villages, helping build community-led structures that strengthen participation and access to healthcare.
Dr. Nandakumar Menon: Doctor trained in India and the US, co-founded ASHWINI and the Gudalur Adivasi Hospital, pioneering a model of community-run healthcare.
